What they are saying...

"I am in business today, because Bob was by my side as I matured from small business-minded management to a collaborative agent with international opportunities. I gained confidence, risk analysis methodologies, market comparisons, and peace of mind. He helped make very complex situations manageable."

Bob Mischak

Bob has more than thirty years of financial/operational and consulting experience, taking him through the fields of advertising, video postproduction, banking, insurance and taxation & financial planning. He also enjoyed a rather surreal stint as controller of the National Football League's Raiders during their historic move to Los Angeles. In his last position as EVP/CFO of a direct marketing agency, Bob was part of a senior management team that ultimately grew the business for sale to the world’s largest holding company of advertising and marketing services firms.

His consulting skills provide strategic direction and problem solving for businesses’ management, financial and operational needs. His abilities span many facets of financial management, accounting, operations, new business development and mergers & acquisitions.

His board of directors’ experience includes the East Bay SPCA , the International Advertising Association—West and a decade of service to two homeowners’ associations as president and treasurer.  Bob was also treasurer of the Italingua Institute. He has facilitated strategic planning education for Real World MBA’s CEO Connection, taught English language and culture to foreign students for S.W.I.F.T. and has been an occasional public high school substitute teacher. Bob currently volunteers at the Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter and is a member of the Board's Leadership Council.

He received his MS Taxation from Golden Gate University and BSBA International Management from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Bob is an Advanced Toastmaster, having achieved the international organization’s highest communication recognition, and was an active member of the Oakland Uptown Club. He has successfully completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership and Communication program. In addition, “Roberto” is fluent in Italian and is currently studying Spanish. He has received specialized instruction in Italy at the Istituto Venezia and Comitato Linguistico - Perugia and holds a Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera (CILS) from the Università per Stranieri di Siena along with a Certificato di Conoscenza dell'Italiano Commerciale (CIC) from the Università per Stranieri di Perugia.

While he and his wife, Melissa are quite satisfied with life in the Bay Area, their interest in travel is quite extensive. Their journeys have taken them through all 50 states and every continent including Antarctica, which, with apologies to Mark Twain, is even colder than a summer in San Francisco.
